KUWAIT CITY, July 30: The Cabinet has not yet taken a final decision concerning the demolition of Shamlan Al-Roumi Mosque, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that the decision taken by the Cabinet in 2010 was against the demolition of the mosque, which obliged Ministry of Public Works to retain the mosque.

However, it also gave the ministry the right to relocate the mosque to a nearby location in case of urgent circumstances based on internationally approved methods.

Ministry of Interior has allocated KD 473,877 from its budget for providing allowances and bonuses to the employees of the ministry for the fiscal year of 2016/2017, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources.

They said the ministry has taken in consideration all relevant decisions when deciding on the allowances and bonuses. Meanwhile, the civil ID delivery machines at the Jahra branch of Public Authority for Civil Information broke down recently due to which the visitors were unable to collect their civil IDs and carry out related transactions, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources.

They said the problem occurred due to disconnection of telephone and Internet services, adding that a technical team is working on fixing the problem as soon as possible.
