KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: An agreement has been reached between the Interior Ministry and the Kuwait Municipality to deport what they called ‘street’ butchers, reports Annahar daily. Faisal Al-Osaimi, acting public relations supervisor said the Kuwait Municipality is in a state of full alert to ensure orderly celebration of the forthcoming Eid Al-Adha.

This coincides with the campaign, which is held under the slogan ‘communicate with us’ to help remove illegal constructions on state property and this includes billboards put up at public locations. This is in addition to targeting street vendors.

It has been said the Municipality has formed teams to take punitive measures against those who make business without license and those who abandon vehicles in public places.
