KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: Efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry to arrest outlaws and people wanted by law, personnel from the General Department for Criminal Investigations of the Farwaniya Security Directorate have arrested a five-man gang — three Indians and two Syrians — for stealing vans parked on open grounds in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Anba daily.
As soon as the Department received complaints filed by the owners of the vans, a directive was issued to look for the suspects.
The police then set a trap and caught the suspects red-handed. During interrogation the suspects have admitted to the charge. They also said they were using the stolen vans to drop workers to work and children to school after making minor modifications in its designs.
