Building collapse in the Al-Mutla’a Residential City – Incorrect report

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: The Kuwait Municipality said what was reported by some social media sites regarding the building collapse in the Al-Mutla’a Residential City is incorrect. The Ministry of Interior stated that the building did not cave in but it was rather demolished after citing violations committed bu the plot owner and that work was carried out in line with rules and regulations after an order was issued by the Kuwait Municipality. The daily learned the builder had violated the boundary lines of the plot and the contractor was obliged to demolish and amend the situation.
