Bonus for ‘corona’ workers likely after Eid

KUWAIT CITY, July 15: Four governmental agencies recently forwarded lists of employees eligible for the ‘corona’ incentive to the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for review to pave way for the disbursement of the incentive to the deserving workers.

Sources revealed the CSC is expected to complete the auditing of the lists after the Eid Al-Adha holiday, affirming several other agencies will soon submit their lists to the commission.

Sources explained some agencies delayed the submission of the lists as they want to make sure only those entitled to the incentive are included in order to ease the task of CSC. Sources also denied the rumor that the incentive will be granted only to the employees of certain agencies, stressing the decision of the Council of Ministers is clear and all ministries are equal in this regard.
