BMW down Kazma to advance in Al-Roudan Indoor Tournament – Aden Mill edge Jahra as Al-Qarwiyan upset Holiday Inn

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: The BMW team have qualified for the second round of the Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament after defeating Kazma team by 2-0 on the 8th day of the tournament.

According to a press release, Samra Aden Mill team also exerted tremendous efforts to win in a match against Jahra team with a score of 2-1.

Holiday Inn team experienced a shocking defeat in its match against Al-Qarwiyan Group team with three goals while the latter scored four.

In the youth category, Parazouka Academy scored a whopping six goals to none against the Whites team. Tamar Al-Molouk team defeated Khalid Al-Duwaisan team by 4-0 and Abdulqader Al-Hindi defeated Al-Safir Youth team by 3-0.

The Emirati professional footballer and attacking midfielder for UAE Arabian Gulf League Club Al-Ain and the UAE national football team Omar Abdulrahman Al-Amoodi, also known as Amoory, affirmed that playing the tournament was a huge challenge for him, considering the array of international stars who are equally participating as well as the reputation of the tournament.

He said he had heard a lot about the tournament and have been enjoying the matches, especially when his brother played alongside Al-Wehdah Club of UAE two years ago.

Al-Amoodi thanked the organizing committee for extending an invitation to him, saying he had visited some friends in Kuwait several times in the past. He was delighted to play against the Brazilian star footballer David Luiz in an exhibition match.
