Bedoun, Kuwaiti woman held for robbing bank visitors

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: After several complaints were filed personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) succeeded in ending the criminal activity of a bedoun man and his female Kuwaiti friend who specialized in monitoring the bank customers and follow them after they withdrew large sums of money and steal their money after they park their cars, reports Al-Qabas daily.

A security source told the daily, the woman has a beautiful body, wears elegant clothes, uses a sophisticated smart phone and an expensive watch and enters the bank and remains for a long time at the same time keeping a watch on those who withdraw large sums of money; chooses her victim carefully, and when the victim leaves the bank, she and her boyfriend follows the victim until he/she parks the vehicle.

The woman then gives a signal to her friend who then breaks the glass of the vehicle, grabs the money and both leave together. The source added according to records the suspects have committed 10 crimes in various governorates and targeted different banks using the same ‘modus operandi’.

The suspects have now been referred to the judiciary after documenting their confessions. A large sum of stolen money has been found while a part of the loot has been spent by them on social appearances, travelling to different countries.
