Barraqa emerges winner of 6-kilometer camel race

Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait Carlo Baldocci receiving memorial plaque from the organizers.

Under the patronage of Board of Directors of Kadm General Trading and Contracting Company Faleh Al-Kadm, a camel race was inaugurated in the presence of Rakan Al-Kadm and a number of foreign dignitaries including the Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait Carlo Baldocci, as well as a large number of fans of camel races.

According to a press release, the camel Barraqa owned by Fahd Al-Hajri emerged the winner of the six-kilometer race, followed by the camel Intebah owned by Ali Al-Merri in second place and camel Farah owned by Qablan Al-Dousari in third.

The camel Al-Mudda’e owned by Talib Soud Al-Ajmi won first place in the seventh round of the five-kilometer race, followed by the camel Julmoud owned by Twaim Al-Hajri in second place and the camel Khutam owned by Talib Soud in third.

On the behalf of his father, Rakan Faleh Al-Kadm presented the award to Fahd Al-Hajri and congratulated him on the achievement. He gave the cup to Talib Soud and congratulated him on the win.

Al-Kadm gave a memorial plaque to the Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait Carlo Baldocci.

Meanwhile, the camel Al-Jazab owned by Salem Al-Merri won the second round of Thanaya Abkar race. The camel Dhabi owned by Ali Al-Shalahi won the third round of the race for Sudanese camels. The camel Ghair owned by Zabran Al-Ajmi won the fourth round. The camel Berlin owned by Nasser Al-Ajmi won the fifth round. The camel Dehaila owned by Talib Soud won the sixth round, the camel Al-Ubour owned by Abdulhadi Al-Ajmi won the eighth round and the camel Al-Shamekh owned by Talib Soud won the ninth round of the race “Jada’at Abkar”.
