Barbers in Kuwait committed to health protection

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 04: The Ministry of Health stressed the need for barbershops and saloons to adhere to personal health protection methods (using gloves and masks, and using disinfectants and sterilizers), a number of hairdressers in men’s salons were fully committed to what was stated in the notice, noting that they had purchased all the required means, and obligated all who works in salons.

The Ministry of Health had written a letter to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, calling for the requisite the means of personal health protection in barbershops and salons reports Al Rai.

The barber, Mahmoud Hassan, indicated that the salon owner bought a large number of muzzles to distribute to salon workers, and to the customers, in addition to that we were obligated to wear gloves during shaving, explaining that most customers refuse to wear the mask for special reasons, as you see that the situation in Kuwait is safe.

Barber Saeed Othman said that the decision taken by Kuwait is sound, and this indicates the extent of the ministry’s concern for the health of Kuwaitis and expats, pointing out that he has purchased all the supplies since the announcement of a virus infection, and all we do is a precautionary measure that supports the movements of the responsible authorities in the state.

Barber Ahmed Hamdi considered that a financial penalty must be imposed on everyone who works in the field for not abiding by the decision, since the virus can be easily transferred from one an another especially the barbers for the closest distance between them and customers since it is necessary for him to fear for their lives before others.
