KUWAIT CITY, June 7: The Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality has confirmed the continuation of campaigns being conducted by Jahra Emergency Team targeting groceries located in private houses at Sa’ad Al-Abdullah City, resulting in the issuance of eight warnings to erring individuals.

Head of the team Ali Al-Quwaidi explained these campaigns is in compliance with instructions of the director of the Municipality branch in Jahra in order to put an end to such a negative phenomenon and to protect the health of residents. He disclosed eight warnings were issued to those proven to have violated the regulations, informing them that the violations must be rectified within the grace period, otherwise, legal action will be taken against the owners of groceries and the houses as well.

The department urged citizens and expatriates to communicate with the Municipality through hotline number 1844448 and social media account kuwmun@ in case they have complaints.
