Bangladeshi hurt in brawl – Indian held with liquor

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: A Bangladeshi expatriate sustained injuries during a quarrel with another in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics. After settling the quarrel, the injured man was referred to Farwaniya Hospital while the other was arrested and referred to the police station. Investigations revealed that the quarrel was based on a financial matter.

Indian held with liquor: An Indian expatriate was arrested in possession of 11 bottles of locally manufactured liquor, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Private Taskforce officers were patrolling Fahaheel Road when they stopped a vehicle based on suspicions and checked the civil ID of the motorist to discover he is an Indian expatriate.

They checked the trunk of his vehicle to find 11 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, Farwaniya securitymen confiscated 33 bottles of locally manufactured alcohol from a vehicle. Th e unidentified motorist managed to run away.
