Bangladeshi hits Syrian on head with metal rod – Two Egyptians sustain injuries in fight

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Two Egyptian expatriates sustained injuries and bruises during a bloody fight between them in Nugra area. According to security sources, an argument broke out between the two suspects concerning a former dispute and they insulted each other after which they started exchanging blows.

Passersby tried to separate them but in vain, and they notified the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and they referred the suspects to Mubarak Hospital for treatment. Necessary legal actions were taken against the two suspects. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint at Andalous Police Station against a truck driver, accusing him of crashing the truck into his vehicle in order to force him to stop and attacking him severely.

He explained that the truck driver and his passenger attacked him as soon as he stepped out of his vehicle. He presented a medical report to the securitymen to indicate the injuries he sustained from the attack. Using the details of the truck provided by the citizen, securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the two suspects.

Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi expatriate was arrested for hitting a Syrian expatriate on the head with a metal rod, due to which the latter lost consciousness and sustained a serious head injury. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a fight between two expatriates in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, securitymen rushed to the location to discover that the fight occurred between a Bangladeshi and a Syrian.

The Bangladeshi had escaped after hitting the Syrian on the head with a metal rod. The latter became unconscious and was bleeding profusely from his head because of which one of the passersby took him immediately to Farwaniya Hospital. Securitymen rushed to the hospital and discovered that the Syrian was admitted and is undergoing medical treatment. They conducted investigations which eventually led to the arrest of the Bangladeshi suspect. The latter is being detained at the police station until the Syrian is discharged after which the investigations will resume.
