‘Ban pen-knives’ on sale in several stationery shops in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: The guardians of a number of students cautioned about the availability of a knife in the form of a pen in several stationery shops in Kuwait, reports Al-Qabas daily. They urged Consumer Protection Sector, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Interior to prevent its sale especially since it is easy to carry and difficult to detect. However, sources said Ministry of Interior did not receive any report in this regard, but it intends to conduct extensive investigation in stationery shops to verify the sale of such penshaped knives, and coordinate with the concerned authorities to ban its sale.
