Baby’s corpse found near a mosque

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: The remains of a new-born baby which were found near a mosque in Nugra have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily. Police are looking for the person who dumped the remains in the area.

20 expats held: The joint committee comprising teams from the Residence Affairs and the Labor Inspection departments organized a security campaign in Kabd and arrested 20 expatriates for violating residence and labor laws and referred them to the relevant authorities, reports Al-Anba daily.

Sophisticated devices: The Interior Ministry has reportedly requested for the supply of sophisticated devices to change the telescope of sniper guns which are used in night operation and 200 night vision goggles, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily did not give more details.

Blatant violation: It appears the Kuwait International Airport is immune to the law which has been recently passed by the authorities to confiscate the licence plates of vehicles which impede traffic movement, reports Al-Rai daily.

Two hurt in mishaps: A Syrian expatriate sustained a back injury and bruises throughout his body in a traffic accident that took place in Sabah Al-Nasser area, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, Farwaniya securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and discovered that the motorist, a Syrian expatriate, had sustained injuries. Paramedics administered first aid on him and then referred him to Farwaniya Hospital. Securitymen moved the vehicle from the road. Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate sustained a fracture on his right leg when his vehicle toppled on Sixth Ring Road. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving information about the accident.
