Authorities Apprehend Suspect with Psychotropic Substances

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: As the search and investigation efforts against individuals involved in the distribution and sale of illegal drugs and substances continue to intensify, the General Administration for Narcotics Control’s Criminal Security Sector, specifically the Local Control Department, successfully apprehended an individual. This person was found to be in possession of significant quantities of illicit substances, including 5 liters of the psychotropic substance known as GHB, 50 capsules of Lyrica (another psychotropic substance), and 30 pills of various psychotropic substances. Additionally, various tools and empty packaging boxes were discovered alongside the suspect.

The arrested individual, along with the confiscated items, has been handed over to the appropriate authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings against him. These actions are part of the ongoing efforts to combat the distribution and use of narcotics and psychotropic substances, promoting public safety and the well-being of society.
