Asians held with 100 bottles liquor

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: Three Asian expatriates were arrested in Riggae area in possession of 100 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Riggae area when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and ordered the driver to pull over.

Securitymen checked their details and discovered they are both Asian nationals. They checked the vehicle and found a large number of liquor bottles. When questioned, the suspects confessed that they were planning to sell liquor to their clients. They were arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, a 33-year old Bedoun man who is wanted by law for four cases of swindling including one involving KD 20,000 was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities by securitymen. In addition, a drunken Asian expatriate was arrested in front of a building in Farwaniya area and referred to the concerned authorities for investigations.
