KUWAIT CITY, March 1: An Asian expatriate lodged a complaint at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station against an Egyptian expatriate, accusing the latter of hitting him on the shoulder with a stick and threatening to kill him.
Securitymen arrested the Egyptian expatriate and took necessary legal action. Furthermore, an unknown individual tried to rape an Asian woman in a residential building in Farwaniya area. He managed to escape after the victim shouted for help from the caretaker and residents of the building.
Securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the suspect. In addition, a Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint at Fahaheel Police Station against the driver of a 4×4 vehicle, accusing him of stalking her to give her his mobile number and then threatening to crash into her car.
Using the description of the vehicle provided by the woman, securitymen managed to identify the owner of the vehicle. They have launched necessary procedures to arrest him.
Meanwhile, two Kuwaiti citizens sustained injuries during a quarrel between them in Jahra area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel between two citizens in Jahra area, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and discovered that a number of passersby settled the quarrel.
The suspects, who sustained injuries throughout their bodies, were referred to Jahra Hospital. Necessary legal actions have been taken against the two suspects.
