KUWAIT CITY, May 22: An Asian expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle three kilograms of marijuana into the country. According to sources, the Asian passenger appeared nervous when he arrived at the airport, prompting customs officers to check his luggage. They found three kilograms of marijuana hidden inside a carton of fruits. When questioned, the suspect confessed that he was planning to sell them to his client. Necessary action was taken and the suspect was referred with the confiscated marijuana to the Drugs Control General Department.
Meanwhile, an Indian expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport in possession of various types of medicines.
