Asian Liquor trader nabbed; Egyptian arrested in possession of hashish and pills

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: An Asian expatriate was arrested for trafficking in locally manufactured liquor, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were on routine patrol when they suspected a parked bus with a single occupant.

They checked his details and discovered he is an Asian expatriate. Sensing his nervousness, they checked the bus to find a carton containing 312 polyethylene bottles filled with locally manufactured liquor.

In addition, Ahmadi securitymen also arrested an Egyptian expatriate in Fahaheel area in possession of a cigarette stuffed with hashish as well as narcotic pills. When they checked his details, they discovered he was wanted by law. He was referred with the drugs to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.
