Asian held with liquor in Abu Halifa – Man, woman peddling drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: Ahmadi securitymen arrested an Asian expatriate in Abu Halifa area in possession of 100 bottles of alcohol. Apparently, securitymen on a round of Abu Halifa area spotted a motorist and asked him to stop for checking.

They went ahead to conduct a search inside his vehicle when they realized he was nervous and recovered 100 bottles of liquor in the trunk. He was arrested and referred with the contraband to relevant authorities. Meanwhile, security operatives arrested a citizen with illicit drugs and tools for administering the contraband. He was referred to Drug Prosecution.

Peddling drugs: Officers from Farwaniya Security Directorate arrested an Asian man with a female compatriot for peddling in drugs. A security source said a team of patrolmen suspected a Japanesemade vehicle driven by an Asian expatriate accompanied by a woman and ordered him to stop for checking. The couple became jittery when the officers asked about their details, and an unspecified quantity of narcotic pills was found on them while conducting a search in their vehicle. The duo confessed peddling in drugs. They were referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.
