Asian expat’s car stolen; Kuwaiti citizen robbed

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: An unknown person stole a vehicle belonging to an Asian expatriate. The vehicle was parked near a school in Hassawi area. In a complaint with officers at the area police station, the victim narrated the vehicle was parked near a school in the aforementioned area before the thief stole it. He provided details of the vehicle to the officers and information has since been circulated to checkpoints to trace the suspect. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen notified the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry that unknown person (s) had raided a camp in Kabad area. Acting on the report, Criminal Evidences Men went to the location and lifted fingerprint to trail the suspect (s). A case was registered.

Trapped man rescued: Firemen rescued a person trapped inside a vehicle after he lost control, swerving and crashed into a lamppost near Sabah Al-Ahmad area. The Operations Room of the Fire Service Department received report concerning the incident and deployed a team of firemen to the location accompanied by paramedics and security operatives. Firemen are said to have used sophisticated equipment to cut the vehicle and successfully removed the motorist from the wreckage. Paramedics referred him to a hospital for treatment amid severe injuries in different parts of the body and additional fractures in the thigh. A case was registered.

Drugs with Egyptian: The Farwaniya police have arrested an Egyptian for possessing shabu, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the pedestrian was arrested on suspicion and that he attempted to escape from police. Police have seized from him two sachets of shabu and handed him over to the concerned authorities
