Arrested for not paying 33 dinars

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: Believe it or not, a young man was separated from his family, taken to a police station and handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department for failing to pay 33 dinars, reports Al-Rai daily. This incident took place in Hawalli. This is not the first and will not be the last as there are about 100,000 citizens and residents on whom arrest warrants have been issued for failing to pay less than 100 dinars.
