‘Approve TEC’s request to hike land allocation’

KUWAIT CITY, May 1: The State Property Department in the Ministry of Finance has called on Kuwait Municipality to approve the request of Tourism Enterprises Company (TEC) to increase the land allocated for the television transmission station in the Failaka Island entertainment project by 140,000 square meters, reports Al-Qabas quoting a reliable source. The source revealed that Assistant Undersecretary for State Property and Legal Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Khamis sent a letter to the Municipality regarding the tourism and development vision of the State, which includes the development of islands to support the tourism sector. It has been reported that the initial structural plan for the project started in cooperation with the advisory team formed by the Ministry of Finance.
