Amir’s envoy visits Chinese Yangshan Port

Envoy of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, First Deputy Premier and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah visited Yangshan Port on Thursday. The visit came upon an official invitation from the Chinese government.

The deep water port for container ships is in Hangzhou Bay south of Shanghai. Connected to Shanghai’s Pudong New Area by the Donghai Bridge and forming part of the Port of Shanghai, the islands of Greater and Lesser Yangshan are administered separately as part of Zhejiang’s Shengsi County. (KUNA)
