Amir visits First Deputy Prime Minister in Germany

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah paid a visit Thursday to First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in Germany.

His Highness the Amir visited Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah in the hospital, where he recently underwent a lung surgery, to reassure about his health condition and congratulate him on success of the surgery.

His Highness prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the defense minister a speedy recovery, perpetual good health and wellness, and a safe return home to resume his benevolent efforts in serving his country.

His Highness the Amir on Wednesday received a telephone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan, congratulating him on the successful operation of Sheikh Nasser Sabah.

In turn, His Highness the Amir appreciated the warm sentiments expressed by the King, and said the gesture illustrates the close historic bond between the peoples of the two nations. (KUNA)
