Al-Shariaan wins shooting title

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: Fahd Al-Shariaan, won the “Kuwait International” Shooting Championship was organized by the Bayan Shooting Club, at the Hunting and Equestrian Club in Sabhan. Khaled Al-Ajmi came in second place, while Jassim Al-Rehan came third, Khaled Briouj fourth, Fahd Al-Kafif, and Ahmed Musabih came sixth. At the end of the competitions, the secretary of the Bayan Club, Fahd Al-Suhaibi, crowned the winners of the first six places.

In turn, Fahd Al-Suhaibi congratulated the winners of the Kuwait International Championship, which is the club’s third tournament for the current season, with the participation of 60 shooters. He added: “We are pleased to organize this tournament with a large participation of shooters, and I extend my sincere thanks to the Hunting and Equestrian Club for the facilities it provided to Bayan Club.He also thanked the working committees that created a suitable ground for the establishment of the Kuwait International Championship, as well as the audience who attended the competitions that witnessed distinguished levels.”

Al-Suhaibi continued, “The participation of a large number of promising youth in this edition is important in order for them to gain experience and develop their skills, before they compete in foreign competitions and win more medals and achievements for Kuwaiti sports.” He explained that the Board of Directors of the Bayan Shooting Club, headed by Sheikh Sabah Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, is keen to organize more tournaments.
