Al-Qadsiya win ’16 Local League – ‘Unprecedented achievements’

KUWAIT CITY, April 14: The under-15 football team of Al-Qadsiya Club won the 2016 Local League with four matches away from end of the competitions, as the team have a 14-point difference compared to their closest rival Al-Kuwait Club, which are on a distant second position.

“The Yellows” (Al-Qadsiya) accomplished unprecedented achievements at various age-based competitions this year. The Under-15 team have so far won 24 straight matches without a single draw or loss.

This astonishing achievement can be attributed to the concerted efforts of the players and the dedication of their Egyptian handler and former player of Al-Ahli Club Ahmad Nakhlah, his assistants and the technical crew led by former Kuwait National Team player Hamza Al-Sarraf.

The club started this year’s achievements by winning the Super Cup trophy followed by the National League Cup. Egyptian coaches Emad Sulaiman of Sulaibikhat Club, Mustapha Murad of Al-Jahra Club and the goalkeeper trainer of Al-Arabi Club Mohammad Seyam celebrated the achievements of their compatriot colleague recently.
