KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Salmiya will face off in the final of the 20th edition of the Federation Cup, held at the Friendship and Peace Stadium in Kazma Club. Both teams have their eyes set on the prize, with Al-Qadisiyah and Kuwait leading the tournament record with five titles each. Al-Arabi, Kazma, Fahaheel, Al-Nasr, Al-Yarmouk, and Khaitan follow with varying numbers of titles.

Al-Qadisiyah, aiming to clinch their sixth championship title and take the lead, is set to face off against Al-Salmiya, who is seeking their first title. The match represents a crucial rehearsal before the return of local competitions, with both teams aiming to gain momentum for the remainder of the season’s competitions.

Despite the absence of several sides with first and Olympic teams, the match is expected to be highly competitive, with winning cards on both sides. Al-Qadisiyah coach, Boris Boniac, is banking on Nayef Zuwaid and Ivorian Mamadou Soro, assisted by Ahmed Al-Riahi, Brahima Tandia, Abdel Wahid Sissoko, Badr Al-Mutawa, and goalkeeper Khaled Al-Rashidi.
