Al-Omairi wins Best Actor Award – Faisal’s role in Kuwaiti movie hailed

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: Actor Faisal Al-Omairi won the Best Actor Award in Arab Movies Festival at the annual International Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries held in Alexandria recently, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

Expressing his joy and pride over winning the award, Al- Omairi said he got the award for his role in a Kuwaiti movie, ‘Habib al-Ard’ (Lover of the Land), which highlighted the most significant humanitarian stages in the journey of martyr poet Fayeq Abduljalil.

In addition, Al-Omairi confirmed his participation in the Jordan Theater Festival in November through the play entitled, “The Castle,” that he will do with the Kuwaiti theater team.
