Al-Kuwait Volleyball team bag 51st Premier League Cup – Kazema settle for 2nd place as Al-Qadsiya claim 3rd

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: Al-Kuwait Volleyball Team won the 51st Premier League Cup after defeating the defending champions Kazema Team in the final match played inside Fajhan Hilal Al-Mutairi Games Hall by 3 rounds against one.
After the final game, which finished with scores of 21-25, 15-25, 25-16 and 15-25, the “Whites” were given their tenth league trophy so far. They had won their first during the 1978/79 season.
The game was refereed by Kuwaiti umpires Adel Al-Harbi and Nayef Al-Humaidan.
Ahead of the final match, Al-Qadsiya Team defeated Al-Arabi Team to take the third position at the expense of their opponents. The match had ended with 3 rounds against two.
Officials from Kuwait Volleyball Association who attended the game were Chairman Waleed Aman, his deputy Mohammad Al-Ajmi and a member of the association Fawzi Al-Matouq.
Representatives of Al-Kuwait Sports Club were Vice Chairman Khalid Al-Ghanim and Volleyball Manager Mohammad Al-Nisf. Kazema Sports Club was also represented by Secretary General Yousef Buskandar and Volleyball Manager Meshal Al-Otaibi.
