Al-Khorafi emerges victorious in Horse Jump competition

Kuwait’s champion and Arab representative in the coming World Cup equestrian Ali Al-Khorafi won first place in two obstacle races, jumping 120 centimeters and 130 centimeters respectively.

Al-Khorafi emerged victorious within the shortest time despite facing equally good and strong opponents.

Equestrian Latifa Al-Hajri won first place in the 110 centimeters race.

The competition witnessed the strong comeback of Nouf Al-Essa whose horse jumped over the obstacles without any error.

Shaker Al-Kazmi, who represented the sponsor of the competition – Jamal Al-Kazmi, expressed his happiness over the return of Al-Essa to the competition.

Internal Manager of Kuwait Hunting and Equestrian Club Khalid Al-Tayyar thanked Jamal Al-Kazmi for patronizing the competition for the third year and his interest in the sport.

He also praised the working committee led by Ala’a Al-Sultan who proved to be a success in organization, administration and judging tasks.

He also congratulated Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club Masoud Hayat for the successful competition.

He went on to announce the results on the first day of the competition as follows: Ali Al-Khorafi won first place in the advanced category for 130 centimeters height with Jamila Al-Mutawa in second place, Yusuf Al-Sabah in third and Abdullah Al-Rawdan in fourth place.

Abdullah Al-Faraj and Ghazi Al-Juwairi honored the winners.

Al-Khorafi also won in the 120 centimeters high race with the horse Columbus ending the race in 27/20 seconds, Abrar Al-Musalam took the second place, Musaed Al-Shu’aibi came third, Bafil Al-Sabah came fourth and Yusuf Al-Sabah came fifth.

In the medium competition for 110 centimeters height, Latifa Al-Hajri came first, Abdullah Al-Awadi came second and Fatima Al-Sabah came third.
