‘Rooz Paris’ to be screened in Sept on KTV

KUWAIT CITY, July 8: Following the success of the play “Lil Harem Faqat” (For Women Only), which showed during Eid Al-Fitr holidays, artiste Zahra Al-Kharj affirmed that she will continue participating in theatrical performances to be held in Saudi Arabia during Eid Al-Adha holidays, reports Al-Qabas daily.

She said she was pleased with her experiment in the play, which she considered as one of the theatrical experiences that has infl uenced her as an actress, especially in family theater, where she felt the presence of all members of the family in front of the stage. Al-Kharj stressed that the script of the play focuses on family in general, involves many important narratives and social implications in a technical framework, and is full of comedy, suspense and horror.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti actress Haya Abdulsalam revealed that she is looking forward to the screening of her new drama series “Rooz Paris” on Kuwait TV channel (KTV) next September as announced by television officials recently, reports Al-Qabas daily. She affirmed that the nonscreening of the drama series during the holy month of Ramadan was for her own good amid the density of local, GCC and Arab dramas during that season.

Abdulsalam said “Rooz Paris” represents an advanced dramatic step because it focuses on social and human issues that touch conscience and plunge into the depths of the human spirit as well as “the changes in our daily lives with all its beautiful and sad moments”. She added that the series provides models of purposeful human and social values.
