Al Hajri praises Special Oly team performance

Board Chairperson of the Kuwait Disabled Sport Club and Head of the Special Olympics delegation to the United Arab Emirates ShafiAl-Hajri praised the level of excellent performance of the Special Olympics team regionally and internationally. He said this during a meeting with the UAE national director of the Special Olympics Majid Al-Oseimi on the sidelines of the training camp of the Kuwaiti delegation in Dubai, UAE. The meeting highlighted efforts exerted by all concerned bodies in ensuring success of the Special Olympics 2019 World Summer Games, which will be held in the UAE Capital, Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, Al-Hajri congratulated the UAE’s leadership and people for embracing the sports event. He revealed that the Kuwaiti Special Olympics delegation is currently participating in a twoweek training camp in Dubai. Al-Hajri praised the role of Kuwaiti youth and sports authorities in providing all necessary support to ensure disabled athletes are getting opportunities to improve their skills and abilities in sports as well as participate in local, regional and even international competitions.
