Al Habtoor holds talks with President of US-UAE Business Council

Al Habtoor Group Chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor paid a visit to the US-UAE Business Council in Washington DC on Oct 25. Al Habtoor met with Danny Sebright, President of the US-UAE Business Council and several other members of the Council. They talked about the upcoming US presidential election. They also discussed the passing by Congress of the Justice Against Terrorism Act (JASTA) and its implications, and exchanged ideas and discussed investment opportunities between the UAE and US.

Chairman Al Habtoor said, “The UAE is a land of opportunity for businesses all over the world. It has become the major international centre of business. There are many advantages for business, foreign investors and entrepreneurs. It is an environment that encourages businesses to flourish. In addition, there are significant tax and customs benefits.”

Al Habtoor is in Washington DC to address the 25th Annual Arab-US Policymakers Conference organised by the National Council on US-Arab Relations. This year’s conference, which runs from Oct 26-27, 2016, is titled ‘The Next US Presidency and US-Arab Relations, Probabilities, Possibilities, Potential Pitfalls.’ It is the second year Chairman Al Habtoor is speaking at the high-profile event.
