Al Arabi wins Super Cup for the third time

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: Al Arabi SC won for the third time the Super Cup which was held at Jaber International Stadium by scoring 4 penalties vs 3 penalties scored by Kuwait SC after the end of full time which ended in 1-1 tie.
Major part of the first half was dominated by Al Arabi SC . The first goal was scored  in the 14th minute by Al Khalaf. In the second half Kuwait SC played better and equalized through a penalty kick by Al Mahdi Rahma in the 50th minute. 

The Super Cup was started in the year 2008 with a single match i.e. winners of Amiri Cup and the winners of league matches. Al Arabi reached the Super Cup match as the champion of Premier league, while Kuwait SC had won the Amiri Cup.  Qadisyah SC has won 6 times, Kuwait SC 5 times and Al Arabi has won 3 times.
