Al Andalus Trading Co gets ‘ISO 9001:2008 Certificate’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Ismail Al Hourani, CEO of Al Andalus Trading Company, announced that the Company has recently received the ISO 9001:2008 Certificate, which emphasizes the Company’s leading position in the area of selling consumer electronics products.

Hisham Sorour, Managing Partner of Global Consultants for Business Advisory Services & Training Company, gave the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008) Certificate to Ismail Al Hourani during an event held at Al Andalus Trading Company premises.

ISO 9001:2008 standard specifies the requirements of the quality management system in terms of the ability of entities to improve the quality of their products and services. To get the quality certificate, an entity needs to build an integrated framework that concentrates basically on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement through the unification of work methods and the documentation of such methods in each phase of service delivery; starting from selecting human resources, equipping the infrastructure; passing by the operations as well as control and measurement activities; and reaching finally to the customer service. Al Andalus Trading Company managed to successfully apply the standards and procedures required to provide customers with high quality products and services.

In this regard, Ismail Al Hourani commended the great efforts exerted by the Global Consultants’ advisory team. The advisory team has established the required system, managed the implementation process on regular basis, and trained the employees of all levels to fully perform the tasks assigned to them as per the requirements of the standard specification and the established system. He added that the Global Consultants stands as a strategic ally, and that it was a great pleasure for him to cooperate with them.

In addition, Ismail Al Hourani confirmed that obtaining the certificate of quality management system is the beginning of an endless path of development and continuous improvement in all activities of the company, and is a key base for moving towards getting further global recognition.
