Al-Ahli Academy win title

A football tournament was organized on the playground of Boulevard Complex under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting State Minister for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Rawdhan. A total of 16 teams representing Arab and international sport academies had participated in the tournament.

Director of the Public Authority for Sport Dr Hamoud Flaitah attended the closing ceremony along with a large number of people.

The Saudi team from Al-Ahli Academy for juniors took top place by defeating Al-Arabi team with a score of 1-0. The sole goal was scored by Mansour Janbi. Al-Jahra team came in third place and the Boulevard team in fourth. After the final match, Dr Flaitah along with the Director of Sport for All Department at Public Authority for Sport Hamed Al-Huzaim and Head of the Organizing Committee Ahmed Med’eth honored the winners of the top three places.

Dr Flaitah praised the participating teams and the organizing committee, urging the players to give equal attention to their education as well as sports.

Head of the Saudi delegation Ali Al-Abdullah expressed his happiness over the achievement of his team. He thanked the organizing committee and congratulated Kuwait on the occasion of its National Day and Liberation Day.

Meanwhile, Head of the Organizing committee Ahmed Med’eth thanked Minister of Commerce and Industry and the Acting State Minister for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Rawdhan and the Public Authority for Sport for their unlimited support.
