Airlines to bear PCR cost of arriving passengers

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: The Deputy Director for Kuwait International Airport, Eng. Saleh Al-Fadaghi, issued a circular to the airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport stating that all airlines will be charged PCR cost of passengers arriving to Kuwait registered through “Kuwait Moussafir” app.

The circular stated that this decisions is based on Council of Ministers to impose institutional quarantine for all passengers coming to Kuwait for a period of 7 days, starting from the February 21st.

The circular also stated that the airlines should abide by the decisions of the Council of Ministers and not to board any passengers on the plane if they do not fulfill the requirements for the aforementioned decisions, and whoever violates these decisions will be subject to legal procedures.
