AIDS-hit European prostitute arrested; ‘clients’ to be summoned

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: Personnel from the vice-squad of the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an European prostitute and referred her to the Contagious Diseases Hospital for examination, reports Al-Shahed daily.

A security source the arrest came after the CID personnel were tipped off that a European woman suffering from AIDS had entered the country on visit visa and was involved in flesh trade. The security authorities then set a trap for the woman and caught her in Hawalli. Police will summon all those who had sex with her for medical check.

Marijuana seized: Airport securitymen foiled the attempt of an Asian to smuggle two kilograms of marijuana into the country, says Al-Seyassah. Customs officers suspected the man as he looked agitated when he approached the luggage inspection counter. When the officers inspected the man’s luggage, they found two kilograms of marijuana so he was referred to the relevant security department for legal action.
