Actor urges Kuwaiti artistes to play vital roles in govt’s bid to fight virus

KUWAIT CITY, March 17: Actor Mohammad Al-Sirafisays he wishes Kuwaiti artistes would play vital roles in assisting the efforts of official and governmental authorities especially Ministry of Health in applying the relevant instructions and directives to combat the spread of coronavirus, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

He urged people to abide by the decisions of the Council of Ministers in terms of not leaving their homes except for urgent needs. Meanwhile, Al-Sirafihas finished filming his role in the drama series “Raha Al-Ayaam”.

He indicated that he is preparing for a surprise during the month of Ramadan.

Also, artiste Ahmad Al-Ruwaished disclosed his plan to release a set of new songs during the month of Ramadan in collaboration with a number of elite poets and composers, reports Al-Rai daily.

He explained that he will soon start working on these songs. The songs will be produced by Kuwait Broadcasting, which he described as the top supporter of young artistes in light of absence of such support from artistic production companies.

Al-Ruwaished said he will hold intensive sessions with a number of outstanding poets and composers in the field of song writing such as Dr Ahmad Hamdan, Abdullah Al- Qaoud, poet Nashi Al-Harbi, and poet Sulaiman Al-Khadari
