This comes as part of ABK’s acknowledgement of the important role that private sector institutions play in supporting and developing activities aimed at enhancing national cultural education. Albenali emphasized that organizing traditional games and special tournaments “majorly contributes to the preservation of national identity. We encourage developing youth’s intellectual talents at social gatherings that are a true representation of our culture and heritage and that help preserve Kuwait’s authentic customs and traditions.” This initiative is one of a series of the Bank’s activities to participate in spreading the joy of the holy month of Ramadan.

Recently, ABK organized a CSR activity in collaboration with Kuwait Red Crescent Society which entailed the distribution of iftar meals and food aid boxes to those in need across a series of areas in Kuwait. This humanitarian initiative was met with active participation from staff volunteers who disseminated the charitable offerings throughout the period of one week. Furthermore, in the spirit of giving, the Bank launched special offers for customers to spread the happiness and celebration of the holy month. The Bank also recently organized a staff ghabga event to bring together the ABK family in the joyous occasion.
