A Kuwaiti who returned from Italy via UAE ..and this is how he was treated

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: A Kuwaiti citizen who came back to Kuwait from Italy via UAE after the flights were temporarily halted between Kuwait and Italy due to rapid infection rate of coronavirus in Italy.

The citizen, who asked not to be named, said that he returned to Kuwait through the United Arab Emirates, he had started his journey from Zermatt, Switzerland to Milan, and from Milan to Kuwait reports Al Rai. He state that he had decided to return to Kuwait on an upcoming flight from Milan via Emirates.

Upon his arrival at Kuwait airport, a doctor asked to see his passport, and upon seeing the stamp of an Italian airport, he was asked to stand at right for some time.

The citizen added that the medical team at Kuwait Airport subjected him to a preliminary examination, then he was subjected to home quarantine.

When asked about whether he knows what a home quarantine is, he was given a long list of the procedures that should be done and what should be not, and instructions for those in the house he will be living, saying MOH is taking high precautions to preserve and protect the health of the people of Kuwait
