968 recover from coronavirus; 698 newly infected

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 16: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced 698 new casescorona disease (Covid-19) infection recorded in past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 96,999 cases, while the 3 new deaths were recorded bringing the total number of deaths registered to date to 571.

Infections as per health districts, 171 cases in the Ahmadi Health District, 168 cases in the Hawalli Health District, 138 cases in the Farwaniya Health District, 137 cases in the Capital Health District, and 84 cases in the Al-Jahra Health District.

Number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 93, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) and are still receiving the necessary medical care 9241 cases.
 Number of swabs taken during the past 24 hours amounted to 5,384 swabs, bringing the total to 689,588 tests.

Earlier Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 968 cases had recovered in past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 87,187.
