865 recover from coronavirus; 704 new infections

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 18: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced registration of 704 new cases of Corona virus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 98,528 cases, while 5 deaths were recorded bringing the total number of deaths registered to date is 580.

Infections as per health zones, 195 cases in the Hawalli Health District, 165 cases in Al-Ahmadi, 134 cases in Farwaniya, 111 cases in the capital, and 99 cases in Al-Jahra.

The number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 101 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) and are still receiving the necessary medical care 9172 cases.

The number of swabs that were taken in the past 24 hours reached 5928, bringing the total to 701484 tests.

Earlier today, the Kuwait Ministry of Health announced the recovery of 865 infected in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 88,776 cases.
