7 deaths, 751 new infection from coronavirus in Kuwait, total 11,028

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: The Ministry of Health of Kuwait announced Wednesday that coronavirus (COVID-19) has claimed the lives of more 7 people in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll up to 82.

In his daily coronavirus update, the Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad stated that 751 people have tested positive for the highly contagious virus today, increasing the overall number of infections in the country to 11,028. 169 cases of intensive care, of which 77 were critical

All new infected cases are related to contact and are under investigation 103 – Kuwaiti, 233 Indians, 193 Egyptians, 72 Bangladeshis, and all other cases of other nationalities

In Farwaniya 261, Hawalli 180, Ahmadi 153, 93 in Capital and 64 in Jahra

He mentioned that the number of smears that were taken during the past 24 hours were 4257 smears, indicating that the total number of medical checks 227,000.
