KUWAIT CITY, July 21: Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower Ahmad Al-Mousa said the authority has referred seven beggars to deportation. He noted the decision is in line with implementation of the rule of law and part of measures to stamp out the phenomenon of marginal workers in the country, says Al-Seyassah.

Al-Mousa explained that members of the joint inspection committee from the Public Authority for Manpower, Kuwait Municipality, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Commerce and Industry recently embarked on an inspection tour of various locations across the six governorates leading to the arrest of workers caught begging for alms. He said the suspects were sent to Deportation Camp pending the completion of procedures to deport them.
