616 recovered from coronavirus; 674 new cases

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced the registration of 674 new cases of infections from Coronavirus (Covid-19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 82,945 cases, while it was recorded. One death was also registered bringing the total number of deaths registered to date to 522.

Infections as per health districts, with 191 cases in the Ahmadi Health District, 161 in the Farwaniya Health District, 129 cases in the Al-Jahra Health District, 103 cases in the Capital Health District, and 90 cases in the Hawalli Health District.

The number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 97 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care 7901 cases.

The number of swabs taken during the past 24 hours reached 4191, bringing the total to 603604 tests.

Earlier the Ministry of Health announced that 616 had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 74,522 cases
