KUWAIT CITY, Apr 15: The Ministry of Interior continued campaign against visa traders with iron fist to hold residency dealers accountable.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Khaled Al-Saleh revealed seizing a company and the owner of the company a Kuwaiti citizen and others working in it with more than two thousand (2,000) workers are registered in its file and it has 577 workers who have violated the residence law.

The MOI refereed the file and the accused to the Public Prosecution after completing the investigation with a number of violators present in the Kabd accommodation center .

Minister Al-Saleh with coordination of the Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Maryam Al-Aqeel for the General Authority for Manpower to take its procedures to liquidate the financial guarantee provided by this company to the authority or the bank guarantee in order to pay the costs of deporting the violating labor, as the company has a contract with a government agency.


Al-Saleh stressed that combating human trafficking and violating the residence law is one of the issues related to national security and imbalance of the demographic makeup in the state noting that there is a high-level government coordination in this regard to monitor companies and irregular employment and who contributed within government agencies to the spread of this phenomenon.
