1 death & 55 new cases of infection reported in Kuwait – Total 1355

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 14: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported 55 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections and one fatality in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of infections to 1,355 and deaths to three.

During its daily briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 26 patients were in intensive care nine of them are in critical condition and 17 stable.

He added that the death cases reached three after confirming the death of a Kuwaiti female (79 years) in the last 24 hours, noting that she was in the intensive care unit.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 1,176 patients said the spokesperson, adding that 146 individuals have completed quarantine in the last 24 hours.

Earlier, the ministry announced the recovery of 26 new patients, bringing the total to 176 recoveries
