Kuwait surpass China’s infection cases

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 1: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced 702 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections in past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 85,811 cases, while the 3 deaths were reported, bringing the total number of deaths registered to date to 534 cases.

Infections as per health districts, with 163 cases in the Ahmadi Health District, 152 in the Al-Jahra Health District, 142 cases in the Hawalli Health District, 126 cases in the Capital Health District, and 119 cases in the Farwaniya Health District.


The number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 90 cases, bringing the total of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) and are still receiving the necessary medical care, 7620 cases.

Total number of swabs taken were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 3997, bringing the total to 621616 tests.


The Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 433 infected had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 77,657 cases.

Meanwhile China reported 10 new Coronavirus (Covid-19), all of them for abroad, while no deaths were registered during the last 24 hours.
The total Covid-19 infections in Chinas mainland reached 85,058 cases, while the death toll remain at 4,634, according to The National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, while infections from outside China reached 2,509, Xinhua News Agency reported on Tuesday.
A total of 31 people were discharged from hospitals during the last 24 hours, to reach a total of 80,208, while 217 patients are still receiving treatments, it added. A total of 4,342 patients recovered and left the hospitals in Hong Kong, 46 in Macau, 462 in Taiwan, it said
